Vision: "We want to make active disciples of Wichita and the outermost parts of the world."
The Measurable Goal: “We would like to reach 5% of our neighbors in the next 10 years and help plant 5 new churches in the outermost parts of the world.”
The Mission: "Each one, reach one."
Core Values
Core values are defined as: Constant, passionate, biblical core beliefs that drive the ministry.
Because God has revealed Himself through the written Word (2 Timothy 3:16-17) and the Living Word (John 1:1-4, 14), we place the Bible and Jesus at the center of all we are and everything we do (Colossians 3:16-17).
We are all created to worship God (Isaiah 43:21), and we are to praise God all day (Psalm 71:8). So, whatever we do, we do all to the glory of God (1 Cor. 10:31).
We believe the biblical family has been ordained by God for the nurturing of every member’s faith (Deuteronomy 6:7). We value strong biblical families and are committed to equipping them for the work of ministry (Eph. 4:12).
Just as Jesus called out his disciples to follow Him, we need to join in a relationship with others who can teach and model what a Christ follower is. Our goal is to make disciples who are: 1. Actively trusting in Jesus (Eph. 2:8), 2. Actively growing in Jesus (2 Pet. 3:18), 3. Actively sharing Jesus (Acts 1:8), and 4. Actively discipling others towards Jesus (2 Tim. 2:2).
We want to help equipped disciples to share the gospel effectively (Matt. 28:19-20) to everyone, everywhere (Acts 1:8).
Paul states that he became all things to all people that by all means that some might be saved (1 Cor. 9:22). We as a Church will be relevant to the community around us. That means knowing who our neighbors are so we can love them as ourselves (Mark 12:31).
We believe that life is not to be lived alone. Life is to be lived in an authentic community daily with other followers of Jesus. This community inspires spiritual growth and is attractive to those who don’t know Jesus (Acts 2:42).
